In 2016 Srivikorn School had been converted to be part of Nord Anglia Education with the new name;

St. Andrew international school Bangkok Srivikorn Campus.   The new school will be used for high school student between year7 to year13.   In term of comply with the British school standard as well as to meet the global vision, the campus needs to overhaul.   

 

The overhaul comprise of  demolishing the existing two buildings at front (structure issue), demolishing part of the building-C (functional issue), renovating three buildings (A,B,C), Add a soccer field, a multi-purpose all-weather surface, a 25-meter (8 lanes) saltwater swimming pool and its facilities building.

 

Architect used welcoming approach as the main concept.  All the building had been connected by using open plan at ground floor and link with cover ways.  Drop off and circulation had been redesigned for more security and minimize car parking space, encourage student to use public transportation (BTS).  

 

Renovation detail

Building A:  renovate façade, new classroom layout with gathering spaces at the center of classrooms, add Resource Center, a contemporary workspace suited for quiet reading and self-study. It also has a media suite, which allows students to access e-books and other educational literature.

Building-B: renovate façade, removed unproper swimming pool on the rooftop, double the sport gymnasium with basketball facilities, redesign an auditorium

Building-C:  renovate façade, cut the attached building for better circulation and safety reason.  Add ventilated roof above the courtyard   add an amphitheater step.
